Data Engineer/Databricks Engineer/Architect (medtech exp)

• At least 8 years of experience as a data engineer, architect, or related roles, including transformational and migration projects.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Databricks platform (clusters, workspaces, security migrations, ETL, integrations) and Apache Spark (PySpark, query optimization).
• Advanced knowledge of Databricks ecosystem including Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, and Model Serving.
• Expertise in medical imaging standards (DICOM), 4D CT data, and medical AI frameworks such as MONAI.
• Proficiency in tuning nnU-Net architectures and developing modules for geometric extraction of anatomical features.
• Knowledge of data integrity requirements in GxP/FDA regulated software environments.
• English language proficiency at B2 level for effective team communication.

• Lead the PoC phase of the project independently, establishing its foundations and demonstrating its potential.
• Develop and manage Databricks clusters, workspaces, security migrations, ETL processes, and integrations.
• Utilize advanced Databricks ecosystem components including Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, and Model Serving.
• Work with medical imaging standards such as DICOM and 4D CT data.
• Tune nnU-Net architectures and create modules for anatomical feature extraction using machine learning.
