Mobile Staff Engineer, Platform/Infrastructure (all genders)

• Deep, production-tested expertise in React Native with strong knowledge of iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
• Understanding of React Native internals, performance profiling, native code bridging, platform-specific features, and app store release processes.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) in production or near-production.
• Proven track record managing and optimizing workflows, linting, caching, and build times for large engineering organizations (50+ developers).
• Experience managing complex build configurations, white-label scaling, and monorepo architectures.
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy, making sound technical decisions in ambiguous situations, and supporting teams during complex production incidents.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple engineering teams through expertise, communication, and collaboration.

• Architectural Direction: Shape and execute the migration from brownfield to greenfield React Native within a white-labeled, multi-brand application ecosystem.
• Infrastructure Scaling: Design and evolve the React Native monorepo for scalable concurrent development across multiple squads.
• Shared Code Maintenance: Maintain and scale the monorepo hosting shared npm packages for cross-platform code sharing.
• CI/CD & Developer Experience: Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Bitrise and help shape migration to Expo.
• Quality & Observability: Build tracing and dashboards in Honeycomb; establish and scale end-to-end testing frameworks using Maestro.
• Technical Alignment: Partner with Engineering Managers and Product stakeholders to review solutions, provide architectural guidance, and promote best practices.
• Application Health & Reliability: Lead efforts to improve application health via observability tooling, performance reporting, incident response, and operational guardrails.
• Technical Governance: Facilitate architectural decision-making with appropriate documentation levels based on initiative scope and impact.
