Frontend Software Development Engineer II

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 4+ years building products at scale
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or React Native
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Hands-on experience owning the full mobile or web release lifecycle including pipeline design and app store delivery
• Experience designing data layers between backend services and client apps using GraphQL, BFF patterns, or similar API contracts
• Exposure to design systems at scale and building components adopted by product teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with backend languages such as Go, Java, or Kotlin
• Knowledge of React Native performance constraints, native bridge, and OS-level differences
• Experience contributing to shared platforms including frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience onboarding teams onto platforms with good documentation and well-designed APIs
• Understanding of client app spectrum from full native to PWA with insights on their advantages and limitations

• Own the architecture and evolution of the mobile and web platform used by 20+ product teams
• Contribute to the design and implementation of future client app architecture
• Lead the shared component library, design system, accessibility, and localisation engine in partnership with UX
• Enable product teams through documentation, tooling, and architecture reviews
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and safe rollout infrastructure from pipeline design to app store delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold quality standards including regulatory compliance
