Lead Java Backend Developer

• More than 7 years of experience in software development, focusing on Java back-end or full-stack development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or comparable hands-on experience
• Strong command of Java (8+) and Spring Boot with extensive expertise in microservices architecture design
• Knowledge of REST API design and experience creating and consuming RESTful services
• Background with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and understanding of transactional systems and data consistency in enterprise applications
• Proven ability to work autonomously, understand complex business logic, and contribute to technical solutions
• Ability to understand requirements rationale and evaluate implementation decisions thoughtfully
• Excellent teamwork skills in cross-functional groups, including Agile/Scrum experience
• English language skills at B2 level or above

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Understanding of distributed systems and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka)
