Senior Java Backend Developer

• 5+ years in software development with a focus on Java back-end or full-stack development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot with deep knowledge of building microservices architectures
• Understanding of REST API design and experience building/consuming RESTful services
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with transactional systems and data consistency patterns in enterprise applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, grasp complex business logic and contribute to technical solutions proactively
• Capability to understand the “why” behind requirements and think critically about implementation choices
• Excellent collaboration skills in cross-functional teams with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with NoSQL stores
• Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka or similar)
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
