Tech Lead / Lead Developer

Alfavox is a dynamic company specializing in advanced voice communication solutions, voice technologies, and full omnichannel capabilities. They develop solutions supporting effective communication between organizations and their clients, business partners, and end users. Their products serve business and public sectors, including contact center systems, automation tools, voicebot/chatbot technologies, speech processing, speech recognition, speech synthesis, and integrations with external systems.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience as Senior Developer, Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or technical leader of a development team.
• Practical experience in coding and designing solutions in commercial projects, preferably backend or full stack.
• Experience in product projects with iterative development, including roadmap, maintenance, feature development, and technical quality.
• Practical use of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, JetBrains AI, or similar.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated or AI-assisted code for correctness, security, quality, testability, and compliance with project standards.
• Experience in code review, mentoring, enforcing technical standards, and supporting less experienced developers.
• Strong understanding of software development processes: analysis, design, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, maintenance, and product evolution.
• Knowledge of good application architecture practices, API design, database work, system integrations, and distributed systems.
• Ability to manage backlog, estimations, prioritization, and technical dependencies between tasks or teams.
• Ability to make technical decisions considering cost, risk, deadlines, and product maintenance impact.
• Excellent communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Independence, responsibility, delivery focus, and ability to combine technical and product perspectives.
• Proficiency in Polish for team communication and English for technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with .NET/C#, React/TypeScript, Python, or related web and integration technologies.
• Experience with chatbots, voicebots, NLP, process automation, integrations, or contact center systems.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, queues, high availability solutions, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with legacy systems and leading technological modernization without halting product development.
• Experience in integration projects, API, VoIP, WebSocket, WebRTC, or telecom solutions.
• Ability to prepare technical recommendations, architectural documentation, and implementation task descriptions.
• Experience conducting technical interviews and assessing developer competencies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Technical leadership of the development team responsible for Alfavox products and solutions.
• Active participation in development: solution design, code analysis, resolving technical issues, and supporting the team in complex tasks.
• Conducting code reviews and maintaining code quality, testability, maintainability, and solution consistency.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers, analysts, testers, DevOps, and architects in planning and executing the product roadmap.
• Supporting the team in practical use of AI tools for coding, code analysis, refactoring, technical documentation, testing, and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Assessing technical feasibility of requirements, identifying risks, and recommending solutions aligned with budget, deadlines, and business value.
• Participating in designing solutions based on APIs, microservices, integrations, high availability systems, and product components.
• Mentoring developers, supporting onboarding, and fostering good team work practices.
• Participating in sprint planning, refinements, technical reviews, and product development discussions.
• Identifying technical debt and proposing modernization actions justified by business needs.
