Java Tech Lead (M/F)

Credit Agricole Ubezpieczenia is a company operating in the insurance sector, located in Wrocław, Poland.

• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and implementing Java solutions, preferably with Spring Boot, microservices, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with distributed system architecture and integrations including REST, event bus, and API gateway.
• Knowledge of application security concepts.
• Practical experience with Kafka, Keycloak, Oracle, Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, test automation (unit, integration, contract), observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
• Experience working in regulated environments (finance/insurance) and knowledge of RODO, DORA, KNF is a plus.
• Experience with cloud environments (hybrid model, landing zone, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and lead technically through mentoring, code review, technical planning, and documentation.
• Communication skills, proactivity, continuous development mindset, and knowledge sharing.

• Serve as the technical leader of the Java team, setting technological direction and supporting developers.
• Design and develop system architecture using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, CQRS, event-driven patterns, REST API, and Kafka.
• Maintain and develop layered architecture with separation of read/write operations using Oracle and Elasticsearch.
• Co-create and enforce implementation standards including style guides and architectural patterns.
• Participate in legacy system modernization including monolith decomposition, new service design, and data migration.
• Standardize and develop integrations using API-first approach, event streaming, API catalog, OpenAPI, and contract testing.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Data teams on CI/CD, test automation, observability, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
• Engage in implementation projects involving new products, partner integrations, process automation, and backend AI/ML deployments.
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance (RODO, DORA, KNF) by designing IAM mechanisms and integrating Keycloak, OIDC, JWT, and zero trust principles.
• Provide mentoring and technical support through code reviews, pair programming, tech talks, and quality culture building.
• Develop and maintain shared components such as client libraries, parent POMs, and project templates.
• Co-author technical and architectural documentation including ADRs, diagrams, and standards.
