Inżynier/ka Infrastruktury Chmurowej (GCP)

TUiR WARTA S.A. is part of one of the largest international insurance and financial groups. The position is based in Warsaw and involves working with hybrid cloud infrastructure integrating Google Cloud Platform with on-premise systems.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Cloud Functions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Systems Administrator in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure with hundreds of containers or virtual machine instances.
• Participation in digital transformation projects deploying new cloud services from PoC to production.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Advanced practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Networking knowledge including protocols, routing, Cloud DNS, and hybrid solutions (VPN, Interconnect).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Linux system administration experience with Debian/RHEL in virtualized and cloud environments.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL in cloud contexts.

• Maintain and develop hybrid IT infrastructure, managing resources in GCP and integrating with on-premise infrastructure.
• Design and implement cloud solutions including network configuration (VPC, Cloud Interconnect/VPN), Kubernetes clusters (GKE), and managed services.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) to ensure environment repeatability.
• Manage container orchestration and optimize resources for containerized applications.
• Collaborate with database administrators and developers to support and secure infrastructure for PostgreSQL databases and optimize application traffic flow.
• Implement security and compliance policies including IAM and Cloud Armor.
• Analyze cloud resource usage and recommend cost and performance optimizations (FinOps).
• Participate in migration projects moving workloads from on-premise to GCP and building Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures (Runbooks), and IaC standards.
