Python Developer with GCP

• 4+ years of experience in Python development
• Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries, SDKs, or reusable components consumed by multiple teams
• Hands-on experience with GCP and messaging systems (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka, SQS)
• Practical knowledge of observability and distributed tracing tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Jaeger)
• Experience working with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve software delivery productivity and quality

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with application resilience patterns and progressive rollout strategies
• Experience working with Avro schemas and schema management solutions
• Experience applying GenAI within the software development lifecycle including workflows and tool integrations
• Interest in emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development

• Designing, developing, and maintaining shared Python libraries used across multiple teams and services
• Contributing to the development of a schema management toolchain supporting a large-scale distributed platform
• Improving platform reliability, maintainability, and developer experience
• Collaborating with engineering teams to define and implement reusable solutions and best practices
• Supporting observability and monitoring initiatives across distributed systems
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and software delivery automation

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
