MLOps Engineer

Square One Resources is seeking experienced engineers to join a team developing a globally deployed recommendation system that delivers significant business value across multiple countries. The role focuses on the evolution and professionalization of MLOps and scaling of production ML systems.

• Approximately 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, MLOps Engineer, or ML Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Python and the data science ecosystem
• Experience building and deploying ML models to production
• Practical experience with AWS SageMaker
• Knowledge of at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow (experiment tracking, model registry)
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab
• Ability to design and document ML system architectures
• Experience working with cloud systems, preferably AWS

• Designing and developing the architecture of a production recommendation system
• Building and developing MLOps standards within the organization
• Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Implementing and developing MLflow processes including experiment tracking and model versioning
• Deploying ML models to production on AWS SageMaker
• Collaborating with data scientists on model productionalization
• Building solutions for monitoring, observability, and reliability of models
• Active programming in Python for data/ML infrastructure, deployment, and pipelines
• Mentoring and providing technical support to data scientists and engineers
• Collaborating with product owners and business stakeholders
