Architekt Systemowy (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A. is the employer offering a B2B contract for a System Architect role based in Warsaw, Poland.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in system design and construction (web)
• Very good practical knowledge of Java
• Experience with microservices and distributed system architectures
• Strong knowledge of architectural and integration patterns, API design, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (SQL, query optimization), Event-Driven Architecture, end-to-end observability, and application security principles
• Experience in code review, mentoring, leading technical teams, and cross-team collaboration
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Ability to provide services on the territory of Poland
• Ability to work in Warsaw in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Nice to have:

• Basic/practical knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps
• Knowledge of Agentic AI / AI in SDLC (e.g., AI in development, automation, architectural decision support)

• Design and build web systems with microservices and distributed architectures
• Actively code in Java in a production environment
• Apply architectural and integration patterns
• Design APIs and system integrations
• Conduct code reviews and mentor technical team members
• Collaborate across teams
• Participate in technological decision-making and risk assessment
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Services must be provided on the territory of Poland
• Services must be provided in Warsaw in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
