Business Analyst (k/m/n)

• Experience in projects based on data analysis and processing.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and extract valuable insights.
• Very good knowledge of SQL, including creating and analyzing complex queries.
• Experience in data validation and ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Knowledge of defining and implementing data quality controls.
• Experience in data source analysis and profiling, assessing their quality and readiness for use.
• Knowledge of data modeling and metadata management.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Good knowledge of documenting data flows, business logic, and requirements.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Ability to work from the Kraków office at least 3 days a week.

• Analyze and profile new and existing data sources for structure, content, and quality.
• Conduct detailed data analyses to identify dependencies, data lineage, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
• Define, implement, and verify data quality controls.
• Validate data sets and monitor their quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams and business experts to document key data sets, tables, fields, and definitions.
• Create, maintain, and develop business and technical metadata.
• Identify gaps in metadata and support their completion with technical and business teams.
• Co-create and develop a data catalog covering internal and external sources.
• Participate in designing and maintaining logical and physical data models, especially for analytical layers and data products.
• Recommend improvements in data structure, standardization, and analytical performance.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses supporting data exploration, migrations, and Data Governance projects.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess the impact of initiatives on data areas.
• Document business processes, data flows, constraints, logic, and business scenarios.
• Support business users during UAT testing and post-production deployment by analyzing data and resolving issues.
