DevOps Engineer AI Services

VIER GmbH builds and operates AI-powered applications for intelligent customer service experiences at scale. The role is part of the AI Platform Services team responsible for the AI infrastructure landscape.

• Pragmatic problem-solver focused on reliability, quality, security, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience operating databases and cloud-native services.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong automation mindset and zero-downtime approach.
• Curiosity and motivation to understand operational behavior of modern AI technologies.
• Fluent English (C1 level).

• Own the reliable day-to-day operation of platform infrastructure services within the AI Business Unit.
• Drive automation across operational workflows using modern tooling and AI.
• Support and contribute to migrating internal applications from Nomad to Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to improve Kubernetes environments.
• Manage and support core technologies such as Qdrant, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Dify, Langfuse, Kubeblocks, and the Cnpg.io Postgres Operator.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational observability standards.
• Enable development teams to design, ship, and operate production-grade Kubernetes-ready services.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across the AI landscape.
