Sr Engineer - Embedded C++

The role is within Xperi/Vewd, focusing on technology for Smart TVs and STBs, working with customers like TPVision, Amazon, Sony, and Vestel.

• At least 3 years of experience with C, C++
• At least 2 years of experience with Linux-based embedded systems
• Familiarity with modern C++ coding (C++11 or above)
• Firm understanding of object-oriented programming
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns, architectures, and best practices
• Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
• Knowledge of web standards
• Experience with project and delivery tools (e.g., Github, Jira, Confluence)
• Fluent and efficient communication in English (spoken and written)
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills
• Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in Chrome devtools or similar tools for issue analysis/debugging
• Experience in Smart TV product certification
• Working experience with Jenkins and CI/CD

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable, and reliable C++ code
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs for various platforms and device solutions
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Work in an international environment with teams across the globe
• Be self-reliant with a proactive approach and share knowledge with peers
• Proactively seek assistance when required
• Actively contribute to team activities including design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring
• Stay current about industry developments, Smart TV and embedded technologies
