Senior Product Owner (#5443)

N-iX is hiring for a Senior Product Owner to work on a comprehensive Engineering Document Management System (EDMS) that centralizes engineering documents and data to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 4+ years experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner.
• Experience with JIRA or similar tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Presentation skills.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of industries such as manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, chemicals, mining, pharmaceuticals, retail.
• Experience with enterprise B2B products.
• Experience with document management applications.
• Understanding of CAD design practices.
• Professional certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

• Translation: Work with lead Product Manager or senior leader to translate vision and requirements into epics and stories, ensuring team alignment.
• Prioritization: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and market trends.
• User Story Development: Break down high-level requirements into detailed user stories ready for implementation.
• Backlog Management: Continuously groom and refine the product backlog with the team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary contact between development team and stakeholders, communicating progress and updates.
• Acceptance Criteria: Define acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning to select user stories and tasks.
• Release Planning: Collaborate on planning and prioritizing releases.
• Quality Assurance: Accept or reject work during sprint reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback into the backlog.
• Escalation Management: Work with customer success and support teams to prioritize bugs and issues.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks impacting development or delivery, coordinating with release manager.
• UI/UX Alignment: Collaborate with UX team to ensure wireframes and UI designs are ready and provide feedback during design sprints and user acceptance testing.
