Application Engineer

KSM Vision is a company established in 2012, specializing in automated quality control systems for leading manufacturers in industries such as FMCG, pharmaceutical, wood, and construction. The company combines optical systems with advanced automation and proprietary software based on neural networks to deliver innovative automated visual quality control systems. Originating from a start-up founded by students and doctoral candidates from the Warsaw University of Technology, KSM Vision maintains a start-up character to foster innovation and agile operations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Vision, or AI in practical applications
• Experience with Python and OpenCV
• Practical knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
• Experience building, training, and testing AI/CV models
• Ability to work with production data and debug end-to-end systems
• Willingness to work on practical AI/CV solutions outside laboratory environments
• Ability to independently diagnose problems and propose solutions
• Comfortable collaborating with technical teams, project managers, and clients
• Willingness to work on industrial projects including onsite testing and deployments
• Technical education in fields such as computer science, automation, robotics, or electrical engineering
• Communicative English and fluent Polish
• Independence, responsibility for results, and readiness to work in project conditions

Nice to have:

• Experience in deployment or production projects
• Knowledge of ML/MLOps pipelines
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Knowledge of Docker
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, OPC UA, or industrial camera integration
• Experience optimizing inference on edge devices
• Knowledge in optics or vision systems

• Build, develop, and maintain Computer Vision pipelines for industrial projects
• Prepare, analyze, and validate production data
• Train, test, and optimize AI/CV models
• Implement image processing algorithms
• Integrate systems with industrial cameras and automation elements
• Diagnose issues related to data quality, image acquisition, and model performance
• Participate in deployments, onsite testing, and iterative system improvements
• Collaborate with software, AI teams, and clients
