Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin) - Frontend Platform

Allegro operates at a massive scale focusing on performance, reliability, and developer efficiency. The Frontend Platform area designs and maintains critical infrastructure and tools responsible for building and rendering every website and mobile screen across the entire ecosystem. Their internal CMS-like solutions are used company-wide by engineers and non-technical content editors, requiring exceptional complexity management and architectural thinking.

• Deep expertise in backend engineering with Kotlin and Java.
• Experience managing critical, high-throughput microservice architectures with a focus on system stability.
• Ability to work closely with internal customers and incorporate rapid feedback.
• Openness to experimenting with AI Agents and LLMs integration into internal tooling and workflows.
• Familiarity with frontend ecosystems (TypeScript, React) is a plus.

• Architect, develop, and scale core platform services and content management tools primarily using Kotlin/Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, GCP, Hermes, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Actively monitor, optimize, and deep-dive into platform systems to ensure maximum stability, safeguard SLAs, and reduce technical debt.
• Provide technical foundation and active support for critical business projects, ensuring smooth and swift deployment of new features.
• Lead software development initiatives, supervise and mentor team members, and document software thoroughly.
• Analyze internal user needs to deliver features that accelerate company-wide development and deliverability.
• Shape and develop the platform's foundation to support AI-driven tooling and integration with AI agents and developer assistants.
