Technical Delivery Manager

Alterdata.io is a service company specializing in data, seeking a contractor for the role of Technical Delivery Manager to lead technology projects in data integration, BI, and AI solutions for Polish and international clients.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Delivery Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, or PM with strong technical focus in a software house, IT agency, or boutique consulting firm (30–150 employees).
• Practical experience in data and cloud-related projects (e.g., database migrations, DWH construction, BI implementations, API integrations).
• High-level understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data processing concepts sufficient for technical discussions with Tech Leaders, engineers, and client technical stakeholders.
• Experience independently managing projects in Time & Material and Fixed Price models for external clients, including efficient change request processing, scope negotiation, and profitability management.
• Ability to take responsibility for project delivery and effectively coordinate team work.
• Proactivity and initiative-taking.
• Proficient use of task flow and documentation management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience coordinating technical project teams and collaborating with analysts and data engineers.
• Experience in business and contractual negotiations with external clients, managing scope and budget while balancing client satisfaction and team operational capabilities.
• Ability to manage escalations.
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level for international projects.

• Experience in business/technical requirements analysis.
• Experience with data-driven projects (BI, DWH, AI, ML).
• Knowledge of BI/cloud tools (e.g., Power BI, Azure, GCP, AWS).

• Independently plan and coordinate projects implementing cloud and data solutions in Time & Material and Fixed Price models, ensuring scope, budget, and deadlines are met.
• Manage communication with clients and conduct discussions regarding project scope, priorities, and risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams on the development and implementation of cloud solutions.
• Adapt and implement agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) based on the dynamics and needs of specific project teams.
• Maintain project transparency through ongoing progress monitoring, backlog management, and transparent status reporting to clients and teams.
• Efficiently manage project changes (Change Request workflow) and proactively analyze new client needs for impact on time, budget, and deployment stability.
• Facilitate project team work and support building an environment conducive to effective, collaborative partnerships.
• Ensure projects comply with business and technical assumptions.
• Co-create delivery standards within the organization and share knowledge to build project maturity across the company.
