HSBC Technology Poland is part of HSBC's global technology teams working closely with global businesses to design and build digital services for millions of customers worldwide. The role is within the Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) COO function, specifically in the Cybersecurity Vendor Management pillar, which manages all GCIO/technology vendors to maximize value, address risk, and align performance with business goals.
Wymagania
- Proven executive leadership in technology management within financial services, preferably multinational banks.
- Strong understanding of technology operational management requirements for banks and external environment knowledge (regulatory, political, competitor, market).
- Experience managing within a complex matrix environment.
- Deep financial and commercial awareness with experience managing financial/resource plans, organizational transformation, and project portfolio management.
- Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively.
- Maintains expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Proven team leadership including building, developing, and empowering high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of HSBC Group strategy, structures, and processes.
Obowiązki
Deal Initiation:
- Ensure alignment of key parties to agree objectives and support Tech/Business strategy development.
- Provide 3rd party requirements to procurement.
- Analyse options and support Business Case development.
- Review, plan, and prioritise funding options across portfolios.
Negotiation & Contracting:
- Develop P&L and update business cases.
- Confirm financial, workforce, and recharging models.
- Support Procurement with commercial negotiation, assessment, and deal structuring.
Approvals & Execution:
- Confirm contracts meet requirements including funding and P&L impact.
- Ensure completion of pre-contract Third Party Engagement Management tasks.
- Manage Third Party Spend approval process.
- Support approval briefings including COO, Finance, and Tech.
- Update forecasts and manage budget, funding, and workforce requirements.
- Submit and/or manage Purchase Orders.
Post Execution:
- Validate benefit claims.
- Manage financial, workforce, and recharging requirements including forecasting and invoicing.
- Refresh objectives and strategy review prior to negotiation periods.
- Oversee TPEM task completion, vendor performance, and risk management.
Leadership & Teamwork:
- Active member of Cybersecurity Ops Director leadership team and GCIO Vendor Management Pillar working group.
- Chair Cybersecurity Vendor Management Meetings.
- Lead and manage the Cybersecurity Vendor Management team.
