Senior Design Engineer (UI Design+ Frontend)

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining enterprise Design Systems or large-scale component libraries.
• Strong commercial experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience delivering production-ready UI components, not only implementing design mockups.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma, including component libraries, variables, design tokens, and Auto Layout.
• Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation platforms.
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.2 AA and accessibility-first development practices.
• Experience working with design tokens, reusable component architecture, and scalable UI patterns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile environments and participating in iterative software delivery.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted coding solutions.
• Experience designing and maintaining multi-brand or multi-product Design Systems.
• Understanding of cross-platform component architecture beyond web applications.
• Experience participating in Design System governance processes and enterprise UI standardization initiatives.

• Design, develop, and maintain production-ready UI components within an enterprise Design System.
• Build reusable, scalable, and accessible React components following established architecture and engineering standards.
• Work with design tokens, component variants, and multi-brand design patterns while identifying opportunities to improve the system.
• Collaborate with Product Designers and Engineering Leads to deliver technically sound, responsive, and accessible-by-default solutions.
• Create and maintain high-quality component documentation, including usage guidelines, accessibility recommendations, and implementation best practices.
• Participate in design system governance, design reviews, and cross-functional technical discussions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools where they improve productivity while maintaining code quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Continuously contribute to the evolution and scalability of the enterprise Design System.
