DevOps Engineer (AI, GitLab)

The Polish branch in Katowice serves as a Global Delivery Center since 2007 with around 1,000 specialists. The company has departments focusing on Digital Platform Services including cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, storage, networking, and security, as well as Application Services covering software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM, ERP integrations, and application management for clients in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• Advanced experience (5+ years) with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise (3+ years) in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Good knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning principles, and AI frameworks such as Haystack and Langchain.
• Expertise with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with development tools like Git, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including structured logging and metrics collection (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with database management systems (PostgreSQL) and search engines (Elastic Search).
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and visit the Katowice office.

• Design and maintain AI infrastructure including cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments with compute, storage, networking, and GPU resources.
• Automate deployment pipelines for code, data workflows, model training, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support model operationalization ensuring reproducibility, versioning, traceability, and controlled releases.
• Monitor systems and AI model services with logging, alerting, and performance tracking.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI services.
• Implement security and compliance controls for infrastructure and data protection.
• Manage environments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and business teams.
• Support data and model lifecycle governance including versioning, auditability, lineage, backup, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot incidents, deployment issues, and improve automation and operational efficiency.
