The role is based in the Warsaw office and is part of the Data Platform Infrastructure team responsible for systems that move, store, and govern Asana’s data.
Wymagania
- Software Engineering or Data Engineering background with comfort in writing production code and designing systems
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing production code for backend, infrastructure, or data systems
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Terraform, and monitoring tools like Datadog or Grafana
- Familiarity with distributed data processing systems such as Databricks, Spark, or Snowflake
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies with willingness to learn and leverage them
Obowiązki
- Provision and scale AWS and Databricks environments
- Build and maintain ingestion systems syncing data from Asana’s product surfaces into the data lake
- Develop orchestration frameworks to simplify pipeline development and testing
- Create attribution and reporting systems for platform spend and resource usage
- Write production code for backend and infrastructure services supporting data reliability and timeliness
- Build internal CLI tools or APIs enabling Data Consumers to self-serve infrastructure without deep AWS knowledge
- Lead end-to-end projects from scoping and design through rollout, collaborating across multiple data infrastructure teams
