One More Level is a game development company with a team of over 70 people, known for creating fast and action-packed games such as Ghostrunner and Ghostrunner 2. They are currently working on Valor Mortis, a game revealed at Gamescom 2025. The company aims to create unique and bold games that challenge AAA productions in audiovisual quality.

Wymagania

  • Expertise in Game AI Architecture, including AI decision-making algorithms and AI controller architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine, with experience writing high-performance code.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Gameplay Ability System (GAS).
  • Knowledge of UE5 Blueprint and structured use of Data Assets for data-driven design.
  • Involvement in at least two released AA or larger games, with participation from beginning to release in at least one.
  • English language proficiency at B2/C1 level.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency with Environment Query System (EQS) and advanced NavMesh configuration/optimization.
  • Experience with State Trees or advanced Behavior Trees for complex agent state management.
  • Understanding of AI-to-Animation pipeline including Animation Blueprints, UAnimInstance, Anim Notifies, Blend Spaces, and Aim Offsets.
  • Familiarity with perception algorithms, physics assets, and physics-driven animations.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with next-gen AI and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Ability to work with UE5 source code and modify engine-level systems.
  • Familiarity with Motion Warping and Sequencer.
  • Portfolio showcasing AI implementations and code samples.

Obowiązki

1. Architecture & Core Gameplay AI Development:

  • Design and implement advanced AI systems using C++ and Unreal Engine 5's Gameplay Ability System (GAS).
  • Create, maintain, and optimize State Trees, Behavior Trees, and data assets for intelligent agent behaviors.
  • Maintain and enhance perception algorithms for realistic agent awareness.

2. Navigation, Spatial Awareness & Optimization:

  • Implement and fine-tune the Environment Query System (EQS) for tactical spatial reasoning.
  • Configure and optimize NavMesh systems for efficient pathfinding.
  • Profile, debug, and optimize AI-related code to meet performance budgets.

3. AI-Animation Integration:

  • Work with Animation Blueprints to connect AI logic and visual execution.
  • Implement Anim Notifies, motion warping, and physics-based animations.

4. Innovation & Next-Gen Systems (R&D):

  • Participate in research, prototyping, and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) within Unreal Engine 5.

5. Collaboration, Quality, and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with the Game Design team to translate gameplay mechanics into AI systems.
  • Conduct technical testing of AI implementations.
  • Author technical design documents and systems documentation.
