Junior QA Tester

Big Cheese Studio is the team behind the success of Cooking Simulator, a game enjoyed by over a million players worldwide. The studio specializes in PC games and also develops titles for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and VR platforms. They are rapidly growing and looking for a Junior QA Tester to join their team.

• Initial experience in game testing (commercial, internship, or personal projects).
• Interest in the gaming industry and game development processes.
• Basic knowledge of software testing processes and bug life cycle.
• Basic knowledge of the Unity engine (Editor is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of Git version control system.
• Analytical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills and good communication.
• Communicative English language skills (minimum B1/B2) to use technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Participation in student projects, game jams, or personal Unity projects.
• Knowledge of bug reporting tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp).
• Basic knowledge of C# or another programming language.
• Interest in test automation or QA processes.
• Experience testing games on various platforms (PC, consoles, mobile devices).

• Test new functionalities and verify the quality of builds.
• Search for, reproduce, and report bugs according to standards.
• Perform regression and exploratory testing.
• Create and update test scenarios and checklists.
• Test projects in the Unity engine under supervision.
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, and artists to resolve reported issues.
• Maintain product quality and actively participate in the quality assurance process.
