Mid QA Tester

Big Cheese Studio is a game development team known for the success of Cooking Simulator, a game enjoyed by over a million players worldwide. The studio specializes in PC games and also develops titles for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and VR platforms. The company is rapidly growing and is based in Łódź, Poland.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a QA Tester in the gaming industry.
• Experience testing games on PC or consoles.
• Good knowledge of bug reporting, verification, and regression testing processes.
• Practical knowledge of the Unity engine (Editor) including prefabs, components, and scenes.
• Good knowledge of Git version control system.
• Ability to create clear test documentation and test scenarios.
• Analytical thinking, accuracy, and ability to organize work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Communicative English language skills (minimum B1/B2) to work with technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing games on consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).
• Knowledge of task and bug management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp).
• Basic knowledge of test automation or scripting (e.g., C#, Python).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and production pipelines.
• Experience with performance or certification testing (TRC/XR/Lotcheck).

• Test new functionalities and verify build quality on PC and/or console platforms.
• Collaborate closely with programmers, designers, and artists to identify and report bugs.
• Create, develop, and maintain test scenarios, checklists, and QA documentation.
• Reproduce, analyze, and report bugs using task management tools.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing.
• Test projects in the Unity engine (Editor) and target environments.
• Work with Git version control as needed for the testing process.
• Actively participate in improving quality assurance processes.
