Solution Architect

B2B Soft is hiring a Junior–Mid Solution Architect to join their platform engineering team, focused on building secure and scalable solutions on Azure using .NET.

• 3–5+ years experience building backend systems with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience with core Azure cloud concepts: networking, identity, compute, storage, and messaging.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration patterns including synchronous/asynchronous communication, idempotency, and contracts.
• Experience with MS SQL Server schema design, indexes, transactions, query tuning, and migrations using tools like EF Migrations or DbUp.
• Knowledge of security fundamentals including JWT, OAuth2/OIDC for integration and configuration levels, secret management, and least-privilege approaches.
• Familiarity with application design patterns including layered architecture, clean architecture, Repository pattern, and basics of CQRS with the ability to apply them with guidance.
• Conceptual awareness of AI/LLM topics such as RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering to evaluate AI integration proposals.
• Strong communication skills to document decisions and collaborate with multiple teams.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus and Event Grid, including patterns like outbox and consumer group design.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, AKS/Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting.
• Advanced design patterns including Domain-Driven Design (bounded contexts, aggregates, domain events), Event Sourcing, Saga/process managers, and Modular Monolith architecture.
• Advanced AI/LLM experience with production RAG deployments, Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Search, agentic patterns using Semantic Kernel/LangChain, and AI-specific non-functional requirements like latency, rate limits, grounding, and PII handling.
• Knowledge of API Management patterns such as gateway policies, rate limiting, and developer portals.

• Design end-to-end solutions for platform modules including services, integrations, data pipelines, and security boundaries.
• Produce and maintain lightweight architecture artifacts such as C4 diagrams, ADRs, HLD/LLD outlines, sequence diagrams, and NFR catalogues.
• Define and review REST APIs, including contracts/DTOs, error models, pagination/filtering, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Support data design on MS SQL Server, including schema, migrations, indexing, query performance, and data access patterns.
• Contribute to cloud and runtime decisions on Azure services like App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Storage, and API Management.
• Participate in design reviews, incident retrospectives, and reliability/performance improvement cycles.
• Document architectural decisions clearly and communicate trade-offs across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
