Engineer Sr Analyst - C12 - WARSAW

Citigroup is recruiting for an intermediate level Engineer Sr Analyst position within their Technology team in Warsaw. The role focuses on engineering activities including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, aiming to meet quality standards in complex global environments, especially within Financial Services.

• 5-8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in Financial Services or large global environments.
• Project management experience and proven track record in operational process change and improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, and benchmarking.
• Strong analytic and diagnostic skills for problem-solving and evaluation.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with virtual teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and own projects.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to change.

• Define budgetary requirements, develop functional specifications, and create project plans and software release schedules.
• Partner with business, development, and technology teams to define system requirements and manage engineering relationships.
• Serve as a technical expert providing in-depth engineering knowledge and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage and improve the stability of MS SQL environments, including production and COB support, tuning, installations, patching, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with audit initiatives and security requirements by assessing risk and implementing controls.
• Provide expert analysis and resolution for complex system problems, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and recommend system improvements.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, and PMO teams; manage trouble/request queues for system health.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and end-users, understanding needs and providing solutions while adhering to IT policies and offering 24/7 on-call support.
