Manager, Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineering Tooling

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) team builds and operates Netflix's foundational platform including compute, storage, networking, and performance infrastructure at global scale. The team serves as platform engineers for infrastructure, focusing on systems, tools, and abstractions to enable fast, reliable, and efficient engineering across Netflix.

• Experience as a technical manager working with distributed systems and large-scale cloud software services
• Practical understanding of at least one: compute scheduling, distributed storage systems, or cloud networking
• Preferred experience with building or working on compute, networking, or storage components of a public cloud, especially AWS
• Product-focused approach with experience in building platforms adopted by engineers
• Experience delivering solutions to complex technical and organizational challenges including large-scale migrations
• Strong software development background enabling simplification of complex problems
• Effective written and spoken communication skills adaptable to different audiences
