QA Engineer

Univio is a digital commerce transformation partner with over 25 years of experience and nearly 500 projects completed. They assist clients such as mBank, Super-Pharm, SIG, Bakalland, Onninen, and Volkswagen Group Polska with e-commerce solutions, PIM systems, B2B and B2C portals, advanced UX, and integration systems.

• Minimum 2–4 years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience working with the Magento platform or other e-commerce systems.
• Basic or practical knowledge of testing data exchange between systems such as ERP, PIM, or CMS.
• Ability to write automated tests in TypeScript and familiarity or willingness to work with the Playwright framework.
• Experience testing REST API using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Ability to verify API contracts and handle variable scenarios and parameters in collections.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Skills in working with test cases, defect reporting, and documenting test results.
• Basic knowledge of test management tools like TestRail or Xray.
• English proficiency at minimum B1+/B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Basic knowledge of log analysis and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and accessibility testing.
• Basic understanding of application security topics.
• Experience with AI tools supporting daily work, e.g., GitHub Copilot.

• Conduct manual and automated tests in a dynamic environment.
• Design, create, and maintain automated tests according to the team's framework and standards.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to run tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios and cases.
• Report, analyze, and classify defects and support their verification.
• Participate in test planning, estimations, and requirements reviews.
• Test integrations and data exchange between systems, e.g., Magento, ERP, PIM.
• Analyze application logs, e.g., Kibana, to identify issues.
• Monitor queue systems such as RabbitMQ to diagnose problems.
• Prepare and manage test data for selected test cases.
• Collaborate with the team when testing processes in a complex application ecosystem.
• Influence test strategy development, tool selection, and QA process improvements.
