Model Based Development Engineer (Matlab/Simulink)

International R&D team project focused on communication and integration of devices with the cloud/IoT.

• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink modeling
• Model-based development experience with Simulink
• Software requirements management experience using Polarion
• Testing approaches: MIL/SIL, Simulink Test
• Base C++ knowledge for integration
• English or German language proficiency

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IoT and heating systems (heat pumps)
• Experience with agile development

• Create and refine control models for heating systems in Matlab/Simulink
• Derive models for integration into C++ embedded platform
• Define and manage software requirements in Polarion
• Conduct MIL/SIL testing (Simulink Test) and integration test (Robot Framework)
• Work and collaborate in agile teams to meet sprint goals

Hybrid role with 70% remote and 30% onsite in Katowice. Requires quarterly business travel to Germany to participate in planning.
