DevOps Engineer

One More Level is a game development company with a team of over 70 people. They create fast and action-packed games, including Ghostrunner and Ghostrunner 2, which was nominated to Game Awards. Their goal is to create unique, bold games that challenge AAA productions in audiovisual settings.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience running CI/CD infrastructures (VMs, containers, on-prem or cloud)
• Proficiency with Perforce
• Solid grasp of server and network fundamentals (HTTP, routing, DNS, TLS, VPN)
• Proficiency with scripting languages and ability to quickly learn basics of new scripting languages
• Understanding of Linux systems, Bash, systemd
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools

Nice to have:

• Experience with the 'unreal stack' including Horde, Zen, RoboMerge, Unreal Build Accelerator
• Familiarity with game development lifecycle and Unreal Engine build workflows
• Experience with Symbol Server setup
• Proficiency with Unreal BuildGraph
• Experience with console vendor SDKs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Practical knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with SSO, OIDC, LDAP, OAuth2.0
• Experience with containerization software like Docker or Podman

• Work closely with Technical Director and QA Team on delivery pipelines and improving the team's quality of life
• Administer the repository, CI/CD, Shared DDC and other services required by the team
• Maintain infrastructure, create backups and restore points, troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Provide first-line support for developers
• Design and implement build and asset pipelines
• Create guides for developers and communicate service status to stakeholders
• Assess hardware and software needs for servers and agents
• Evaluate new solutions to improve developer iteration times, comfort, and stability
• Automate asset pipeline (e.g., Wwise sound banks generation, HLOD builds) and add validations
• Scale and manage build farm: capacity planning, provisioning, lifecycle automation of agents/VMs and containerized runners
