Enterprise Application Engineer

Toyota Digital HUB & SSC (TME NV/SA) is part of Toyota, focusing on implementing new systems into production lines and specializing in manufacturing systems implementation for greenfield projects across the Pan-EU region. The team drives the development of new systems for multiple areas to create the Factory of the Future base in line with Toyota DNA.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Fluency in English
• Hands-on experience with Java and Python in production environments, including microservices, layered architectures, database and data modeling, APIs, data pipelines, testing, code reviews
• Sense of good UI/UX design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
• Ability to work with large multinational and multilevel teams
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, or orchestration

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and services using Java and Python
• Build and support APIs, integrations, and backend services connecting enterprise and manufacturing systems
• Translate business, manufacturing, and operational requirements into scalable application solutions
• Take ownership from concept to implementation
• Collaborate closely with departments across European divisions

• Work location is hybrid: minimum 3 days per week in the office in Wroclaw/Walbrzych, Poland, with flexibility for travel
