SAP ABAP Developer (with ARIBA)

This role involves joining a strategic S/4HANA transformation project focusing on Sales, Procurement, and ARIBA domains.

• Proven experience as an ABAP developer on S/4HANA implementations or transformations, with demonstrable work in Sales and Procurement areas.
• Hands-on experience with ARIBA integration and familiarity with common integration patterns (IDoc, SOAP, REST, RFC, CPI or equivalent middleware).
• Strong knowledge of SAP development tools, ABAP Objects, BAdIs, user exits, enhancement framework and CDS views.
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning and working with transport/release management processes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• German language skills are a plus (minimum B2 level preferred).
• Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience in SAP development.

• Develop, enhance and maintain ABAP code for S/4HANA environments, including custom reports, interfaces, forms and enhancements.
• Deliver technical solutions for Sales and Procurement processes, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and project standards.
• Implement and support ARIBA integration scenarios, including mapping, IDOC/SOAP/REST interfaces and related middleware components.
• Participate in technical design workshops and collaborate with functional consultants, architects and stakeholders to define solution scope.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing and support transport management and deployment activities in accordance with project governance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Document technical specifications, configuration details and support handover materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge transfer within the project team.
