Senior C# Engineer (AWS)

Appliscale is seeking candidates for a client operating in Europe to work on backend development using C# and .NET technologies.

• 5+ years of production software development experience in a C# engineer role
• Solid hands-on experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework technologies
• Experience working with AWS and Terraform / CloudFormation
• Strong knowledge of DBMS like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
• Expertise in REST APIs
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD processes
• Proficiency in OO design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and solving architectural problems
• Computer Science degree
• Experience with AI tooling usage
• Able to work with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or Kanban
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivation and proactive attitude
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience developing Cloud and Infrastructure solutions with AWS and CI/CD tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CircleCI, GitlabCI, Datadog
• Exposure to frontend development in React
• Experience with object-oriented or functional languages such as TypeScript, Java, Elixir, C++, Golang, Erlang, Python, Kotlin

• Designing, writing, and testing functionalities for a backend system written in C#
• Designing software architecture between backend, frontend, and mobile apps
• Deploying and maintaining microservices in AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Debugging and maintaining the production system used by consumers from several European countries
• Scoping and assessing the complexity of features
• Participating in sprint planning, daily sprints, and meetings with product owners for grooming new features
• Collaborating with other team members and dependent teams
• Recruiting and mentoring new team members
