IT System Engineer

IT Talento is part of the HICRON Group, an organization supporting companies in technology projects, digital transformations, and the development of SAP systems and IT solutions. The Group cooperates with around 1,000 experts and consultants working on projects in Poland and abroad, including SAP implementations, migrations to SAP S/4HANA, development of dedicated applications and systems, integration projects, IT environment modernization, and business process automation and transformation initiatives. The teams work across various market sectors such as production, automotive, energy, chemistry, and FMCG, providing a diverse technological and business environment.

• Higher education, preferably technical or IT-related fields
• Minimum 5 years experience administering IT infrastructure and network environments
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft environments: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange
• Experience with network solutions from Ruckus, Cisco, or Extreme Networks
• Knowledge of VLAN, BGP, ACL, and enterprise routing and networking concepts
• Experience with VMware and backup solutions like Veeam or similar
• Practical knowledge of configuring and maintaining firewalls (Cisco or similar)
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, VMware SRM, and Veeam solutions is an asset
• Experience building network infrastructure and implementing SD-WAN solutions
• Very good English language skills
• Experience working with Jira and maintaining technical documentation
• Independence, proactivity, responsibility for tasks
• Willingness to travel for business trips approximately once per quarter

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of PAM (Privileged Access Management) solutions
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices
• Knowledge of German, Polish, or French languages
• Driving license category B

• Administration and maintenance of Microsoft environment (including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange)
• Maintenance and development of network infrastructure covering Data Center and office locations
• Implementation and maintenance of network solutions (including VLAN, BGP, ACL, routing)
• Administration of firewalls (such as Cisco), configuration of ACL, VPN, firmware, routing, and syslog
• Operation and development of backup solutions (Veeam, Networker) ensuring data integrity
• Participation in planning, testing, and maintaining Disaster Recovery procedures
• Monitoring IT infrastructure using tools like SolarWinds or similar
• Handling 2nd Line Support tickets in Jira
• Collaboration with external partners and IT service providers
• Participation in infrastructure and deployment projects
• Creation and updating of technical documentation
