Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)

Mindrift is the company behind the Tendem project, which builds native and cross-platform mobile applications within a hybrid AI + human environment. The platform connects specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators, aiming to unlock the potential of Generative AI by tapping into global expertise.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
• Experience with at least one of these technologies: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android.
• Strong foundation in mobile UI patterns, navigation, state management, and platform guidelines.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and managing asynchronous data and local storage.
• Familiarity with native device APIs including notifications, camera, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Experience with mobile build tools, code signing, and submitting apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Portfolio of shipped mobile apps with preferred App Store or Google Play links.
• Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Experience implementing in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions.
• Familiarity with backend services like Firebase or Supabase.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on performance, stability, and polish.
• Ability to work independently and ship complete mobile features.

• Build mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
• Implement responsive mobile UIs following platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs and manage offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization features like in-app purchases, ads, and subscriptions when required.
• Evaluate and refactor AI-generated mobile code for correctness, performance, battery use, and maintainability.
• Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution via TestFlight and Play Console.

This freelance role is remote and available to professionals located in Poland. English language proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
