Technical Program Manager - Microsoft Fabric

Microsoft is a global technology company with a focus on innovation, collaborating to build cloud-enabled solutions. The Azure Data engineering team develops data platform products including Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI, aiming to build the data platform for the age of AI.

• Bachelor's Degree and experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.

Preferred:

• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Scripting skills, e.g., PowerShell, bash.
• Experience with database queries and developing ad-hoc tools.
• Experience reading and/or writing code for sample documentation or product demos.

• Define and execute Activator's supportability roadmap.
• Establish supportability objectives, KPIs, and operational health metrics.
• Drive alignment between Engineering, Product, and Customer Support (CSS) on customer support priorities.
• Represent supportability status, risks, and improvement plans to leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement of the Customer Requested Incident (CRI) process.
• Influence without authority across engineering, support, and product teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership on supportability and operational health.
