Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Join a strategic, large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program where you will play a key role in building and stabilizing a future-proof platform landscape. While shaping the new environment, the project concurrently runs an SAP ECC installation as the primary system. As a Senior Consultant, you will provide technical leadership, drive stability, and act as a trusted advisor to management on critical SAP Basis topics.

• 8–10+ years of solid, hands-on experience within the SAP Basis domain.
• Strong technical expertise in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA environments.
• Deep understanding of transport management, system lifecycle processes, and performance optimization.
• Proven track record of working effectively with external providers and vendors.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience in S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, BDC, and Integration Suite, as well as cloud exposure (e.g., AWS).
• Availability for full-time or at least 80% allocation throughout the project.

• Ensuring the high stability, security, and performance of a diverse SAP landscape (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, GRC, CloudALM, BTP, and Integration Suite).
• Proactive system monitoring, alert handling, and performance tuning to prevent bottlenecks.
• Managing end-to-end transport processes, including transport routes, imports, and redeployments.
• Executing system and client copies, including re-establishing connections and web services.
• Implementing SAP Notes, managing add-ons, and conducting upgrade assessments and readiness checks.
• Overseeing operational tasks such as email/archive integrations, printer administration, and license measurement.
• Coordinating BTP service monitoring and activation.
• Supporting governance and compliance efforts including release planning, data archiving, Firefighter user management, and audit preparation.

Work mode is remote. Start of the project is ASAP with duration of 6-9 months. Availability for full-time or at least 80% allocation is expected.
