Senior Fullstack Engineer (PST Overlap)

Appliscale is an independent Technology Consultancy specializing in bespoke, cloud-based systems and full-cycle engineering, working in industries including gaming, proptech, legaltech, and adtech. They partner with startups, scaleups, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide and focus on building intelligent agents that drive automation and scalable ecosystems.

• 6+ years of experience with frontend technologies
• 5+ years of experience with React
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong frontend focus with ability to dive into backend when needed
• Deep hands-on programming experience with TypeScript and React
• Good understanding of modern web architecture and technologies
• Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG)
• Aptitude for debugging, analyzing issues, and implementing solutions
• Experience building frontend interfaces directly from design mockups in Figma or similar tools
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, RTL, Playwright)
• Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Webpack, Vite)
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data formats
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

• Experience building Electron desktop applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Docker, Github Actions)
• Hands-on experience with public cloud, preferably AWS
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, preferably Datadog

• Partner closely with Senior Engineers and Design to create and iterate on well crafted user experiences
• Build out complex Electron applications that support the Game Client development
• Work with partner teams and platforms to bring experience to life
• Quickly iterate on prototypes and new areas to find feasible solutions for the products being built
• Create, manage and document RESTful APIs
• Write and execute unit, integration and end-to-end tests, participate in code reviews

Availability to attend afternoon/evening meetings is required due to team location on US West Coast (LA and Seattle).
