Senior Web Gui Developer / Front-End Engineer

OPT/NET BV is a scaleup from the Netherlands developing MONITORED AI, a Geospatial + IoT sensory Data Fusion & Analytics platform. The platform integrates large volumes of geospatial data with in-situ sensor data into dashboards for monitored assets and operational areas. Use cases include smart agriculture, mining, maritime, environmental monitoring, and other domains involving Earth observation data, sensor data, and AI-based analytics.

• Strong experience in JavaScript and TypeScript development
• Deep understanding of ES2017+ features
• Ability to write performant, scalable, and maintainable code
• Knowledge of asynchronous event flow and asynchronous programming
• Understanding of algorithmic complexity and Big-O notation
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of common software engineering and programming patterns
• Ability to design clean and reusable front-end architecture
• Experience building low-latency, interactive user interfaces
• Advanced HTML and CSS skills
• Experience with SCSS
• Experience in developing complex single-page applications
• Knowledge of browser rendering, DOM performance, and responsive layouts
• Strong experience with React.js and custom hook-based components
• Understanding of React component lifecycle and shared state management options like Redux, Immutable.js, Context API
• Experience combining declarative React patterns with imperative DOM, SVG, canvas, or WebGL rendering
• Experience integrating React with advanced visualization libraries and custom rendering layers
• Strong experience with D3.js and building custom advanced charts
• Ability to design visualizations for complex datasets including sensor measurements, time-series data, geospatial analytics, and AI outputs
• Experience with raw WebGL programming and linear algebra/computer graphics fundamentals
• Ability to build interactive, high-performance visual components for large datasets
• Experience with hybrid WebGL/SVG visualizations is an advantage

• Experience with GIS applications, geospatial data visualization, earth observation data
• Experience with satellite or airborne data, IoT sensor data, 3D visualization
• Experience with VR or immersive interfaces
• Experience with interactive dashboards for agriculture, mining, maritime, environmental monitoring, or critical infrastructure

• Develop advanced Web GUI components for MONITORED AI
• Build high-performance dashboards, charts, maps, and interactive analytical views
• Visualize geospatial data, IoT sensor data, AI outputs, monitoring results, events, and anomalies
• Integrate React-based interfaces with D3, WebGL, and backend APIs
• Improve usability, performance, and responsiveness of the platform
• Support development of new visualization capabilities for 2-D, 3-D, and multidimensional datasets
• Collaborate closely with backend, AI, data engineering, and product teams
