Senior SRE / DevOps / Release Engineer

AltexSoft is looking for a Senior SRE / DevOps / Release Engineer to join a project for their client — a SaaS platform built in a multi-cloud environment. The platform dynamically provisions secure environments for testing and execution, making infrastructure a core product component.

• Strong software engineering background
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform in production environments
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and release engineering
• Strong Kubernetes experience including Amazon EKS, K8s, and Helm
• Experience writing automation and production-quality code, preferably in Go; proficient in Go, Python, or Rust
• Basic understanding of cloud security, IAM, and permissions management
• Willingness to learn and work with Azure in a multi-cloud environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments
• Background in developer-first / SRE environments
• Experience with product-oriented infrastructure

• Design and build fully automated infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and reliable
• Provision and manage virtual machines, machine images, and test environments
• Harden environments and machine images to ensure security and reliability
• Build and maintain scalable, highly automated systems
• Support and evolve productized infrastructure as a part of the product
• Enable secure script execution, isolated test environments, and repeatable provisioning processes
• Collaborate closely with development teams on system reliability, CI/CD pipelines, and release engineering processes
