Full stack Engineer

• Strong experience in software engineering, focusing on building backend services and microservice-based systems.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed applications.
• Experience delivering RESTful APIs to production.
• Hands-on experience writing schemas and working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Demonstrated experience deploying business-critical services in fast-paced, iterative delivery cycles.
• Expertise in Java (preferably working with the latest versions).
• Expertise in containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments (GCP or similar).
• Experience in front-end development using ReactJS.
• Knowledge of agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in financial services or banking technology.
• Understanding of security and compliance for enterprise-grade software systems.

• Design, develop, and deliver code to production in a microservice-based architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Support the architecture and technical design to align with enterprise standards and business goals.
• Deliver RESTful APIs and reactive services for critical applications.
• Ensure awareness of business context, non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability) while developing solutions.
• Regularly deploy changes to production at high cadence and embrace DevOps automation practices.
• Collaborate across global teams and facilitate communication across distributed regions.
• Identify and remove delivery impediments, manage risk, and maintain active communication with stakeholders.
• Continuously seek and implement process improvements, driving engineering excellence across the organisation.
