NARODOWY BANK POLSKI is hiring for a position in the Department of IT and Cybersecurity, specifically in the Cybersecurity Division, located in Warsaw, mazowieckie.

• Higher education or final year student, preferably in IT or cybersecurity-related fields.
• Knowledge of English at a communicative level, enabling free use of technical documentation (minimum B1 certificate).
• Analytical thinking ability and fast problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and stress resistance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Diligence, responsibility, and accuracy in task execution.
• Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, SOAR, WAF, DAM, EDR/XDR, NDR.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model.
• Experience with administration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to identify threats and respond to security breaches.
• Fluent knowledge of Polish language.

Nice to have:

• Experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience in cybersecurity system administration supported by certificates.
• Experience in NOC or SOC monitoring teams.
• IT security certifications.

• Analyze IT security events and handle security incidents.
• Monitor and respond to teleinformatics security incidents on-site in Warsaw in a 24/7/365 shift system.
• Create and develop policies, rules, alerts, and correlations in IT security systems.
• Search for vulnerabilities and threats within the infrastructure.
• Support the presentation of recommendations for corrective actions regarding detected security events/incidents.
• Assist in creating processes, procedures, and instructions for incidents response.
• Monitor available information sources for potential threats.
• Collaborate with other internal units concerning IT security.
• Cooperate with CERT/CSIRT teams.

Work location is in the Śródmieście district. The job requires presence in Warsaw with shift work in a 24/7/365 mode.
