Mid Java Software Engineer

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience with production Java software delivered
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and their application
• Comfortable working in an agile team and communicating clearly with engineers and stakeholders
• Genuine curiosity about technology, domain, and team collaboration
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes is a bonus (appetite to learn highly valued)

• Build and maintain high-performance Java services for sports data and betting products running 24/7 at global scale
• Work across the full stack of features including design, implementation, testing, and production
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions on AWS, learning how distributed systems behave under real load
• Collaborate on architecture and design discussions from day one
• Write clean, well-tested code and improve it through peer review and feedback
• Develop deep domain expertise in a demanding real-time environment
• Work closely with senior engineers, embrace TDD practices, and engage in pair programming and collaborative problem-solving
