Staff Java Software Engineer

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with extensive Java expertise
• Strong track record in large-scale distributed systems
• Experience leading architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams or products
• Deep expertise in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern platform engineering
• Experience mentoring Senior Engineers and shaping engineering culture without direct management authority
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and strategic levels
• Ability to define engineering standards and long-term roadmaps
• Experience in real-time, high-availability or mission-critical environments at global scale is an advantage
• Background in sports technology, betting, fintech, or other highly transactional environments is a plus
