Engineering Lead

• Minimum two years of experience managing people in a technical team or as a mentor/Team Lead.
• At least 5 years of commercial experience as a full-stack developer, with strong practice in React.
• Ability to independently assess code quality and architectural decisions.
• Knowledge of backend using TypeScript and basic DevOps to evaluate competencies and participate in technical pre-sales discussions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate cooperation between technical teams, HR, Sales, and Delivery.
• Problem-solving attitude including diagnosing and resolving technical and organizational issues, as well as mediating and resolving team conflicts.
• Experience in recruitment with practical knowledge in assessing technical skills and cultural fit during interviews.
• Proactivity in improving processes such as optimizing developer workflow, implementing best practices, and automating repetitive tasks.

Team Leader:

• Build and maintain an effective team structure by actively participating in recruitment and conducting regular 1-on-1 meetings with team members.
• Support Head of Delivery and Engineering Manager with project allocation ensuring task-to-skill matching.
• Participate in employee evaluations and coordinate performance reviews.
• Act as first line support for the team in solving ongoing issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure transparent communication within the team and with other departments.
• Report challenges, opportunities, and development potential to supporting functions (Delivery, HR).
• Build an inter-project technological knowledge base.

Technical Aspects:

• Take responsibility for technical quality across the area, regardless of project divisions.
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business, participating in discussions about scope, priorities, and technical possibilities.
• Define and enforce technical standards including code review, best practices, and code quality.
• Provide substantive support in architectural evaluations and technological decisions.
• Take an active, hands-on role in the most complex or critical technical tasks.
• Make or co-decide on key technology and architecture choices in the area.
