Senior Business Analyst

Avenga is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a global digital manufacturing initiative focused on Enterprise Recipe Management in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role involves bridging business needs and IT solutions within an international, cross-functional environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Functional Architect, Business Analyst, or similar role in pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or GxP-regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with product recipe design and parameter definition in manufacturing systems like PLM, MES, LIMS, or ERP.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, relational data models, and reporting solutions.
• Proven experience with system integration projects involving DeltaV, SAP S/4HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, or PLM.
• Strong analytical skills for translating business needs into requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within global teams.
• Availability to work between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM CET.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards and enterprise integration concepts.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for drug substances and/or drug products.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environments.
• Previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Knowledge of data interoperability, reporting standards, and business process mapping.
• Ability to align solution architecture and process design across multiple IT domains.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing integration initiatives.

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support system integration projects involving platforms such as DeltaV, SAP S/4HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, and PLM.
• Facilitate productive discussions and manage conflicting priorities among stakeholders.
• Drive decisions toward business outcomes in cross-functional, global teams.
• Collaborate with teams across Europe and the US, primarily between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM CET.
