Data Scientist / ML Consultant

Algolytics Technologies develops proprietary products in AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, AutoML, credit scoring, Data Quality, and Location Intelligence. Their solutions support large organizations in automating decision processes, deploying ML models to production, improving data quality, and building advanced analytical environments. They work with enterprise clients from finance, telecommunications, e-commerce, retail, utilities, logistics, and technology sectors. The company has mature products, its own IP, and a client base, while maintaining a structure that allows influencing product development and sales processes.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, data modeling, or analytical projects.
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Solid foundations in statistics, machine learning, data mining, and model validation.
• Experience in consulting, implementation projects, or projects delivered to business clients.
• Ability to independently analyze business problems and propose analytical approaches.
• Experience preparing data for ML, feature engineering, and model testing.
• Communication skills for business collaboration and teamwork with development teams.
• English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation and project communication.
• Completed higher education, preferably in informatics, mathematics, quantitative methods, econometrics, statistics, computational physics, or related fields.

Nice to have:

• Experience in credit risk modeling, scoring, fraud detection, or FinTech sector.
• Knowledge of MLOps, Feature Store, AutoML, MLflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or similar.
• Experience with very large datasets.
• Knowledge of SAS, R, SPSS/IBM Modeler, KNIME, RapidMiner, Statistica, or other analytical tools.
• Knowledge of Java/Groovy or experience creating production components.
• Experience with REST API, SOAP, system integrations, or deploying models as services.
• Familiarity with NLP, LLM, generative AI, image analysis, or sensor/IoT data.
• Willingness to share knowledge via conferences, webinars, training, publications, or academic activity.

• Build and prototype predictive models for sectors such as financial, telecommunication, e-commerce, retail, and services.
• Develop solutions in credit risk, antifraud, customer intelligence, churn, response modelling, recommendations, behavioral segmentation, and transactional data analysis.
• Prepare data for modeling including data analysis, feature engineering, data quality validation, and building training and test datasets.
• Deploy models and decision logic in production environments using the Scoring.one platform.
• Participate in R&D projects related to AutoML, MLOps, Feature Store, real-time scoring, LLM/NLP, and automation of analytical processes.
• Collaborate with business clients to analyze needs, translate business problems into analytical solutions, and present results and recommendations.
• Work with the development team to enhance analytical product functionalities.
• Test, validate, and monitor the quality of models and decision rules.
• Prepare dedicated procedures, components, and functional extensions for the Algolytics platform.
