• Native or fluent German language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Valid EU passport (mandatory for relocation and on-site employment in Bulgaria).
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, digital compliance, or related social media/technology field is highly desirable.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, emotional resilience, and critical thinking with sensitive content.
• Excellent attention to detail under time pressure, meeting quality and productivity benchmarks.
• Genuine interest in digital safety, online communities, and social media industry with proactive learning about trends and threats.

• Review and moderate user-generated content across social media platforms in German and English, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines and community standards.
• Identify, assess, and action potentially harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and spam within social media environments.
• Analyse reported content, accounts, and behavioural patterns to detect coordinated inauthentic behaviour, fraud, and other emerging threats.
• Accurately classify and escalate complex or sensitive cases to specialist teams according to established workflows.
• Provide detailed written assessments and documentation of trust and safety decisions.
• Continuously develop knowledge of evolving social media trends, emerging threats, and policy updates relevant to German-speaking digital landscape.
• Collaborate with legal, policy, and product departments to support improvements to trust and safety frameworks.
• Contribute to team quality and productivity targets.
