Software Development Engineer II, Marketing AI

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. employs an engineering team located in Kraków, focusing on AI transformation within the marketing organization, building foundational AI layers for various products and tools.

• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Golang.
• Hands-on experience with data querying, wrangling, and interpretation.
• Fluency and real experience working with AI and LLMs, with a critical perspective.
• Ability to work independently and know when to collaborate.
• Strong passion for security with proactive concern for safety.

Nice to have:

• Experience or interest in Rust or Zig.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Interest or experience in security-related aspects.

• Own problems end to end, from understanding partner needs to shipping and production maintenance.
• Make autonomous decisions on architecture, tradeoffs, and priorities, defending them with data.
• Translate fuzzy business requests into concrete end products.
• Utilize AI tooling critically to enhance daily work.
• Analyze and interpret data to make evidence-based decisions.
• Grow into a highly reliable engineer desired by project teams.

Hybrid work model requiring presence in the office at least 50% of the time, calculated monthly.
